Privacy

We keep this simple and collect as little as possible.

What we store

• An anonymous visitor ID in a cookie (rq_ref, kept up to 2 years). It links your results and your membership to your browser. It contains no personal information.
• Your test results: the name you type for your result card or certificate, your answers, your scores and the date. Anyone with your result's public link can see the name, test, score and date (that is how certificates are verified). Your answers are only shown to you.
• Memberships: payments are handled by Polar, our payment provider. We receive and keep only your visitor ID, a one-way hash of your email address, the plan and its status - never your card details.
• Restore emails: if you ask us to email you an access link, we store a hash of the address and the time, to prevent abuse.
• A short session cookie that protects forms and the test submission against forgery.
• Brain Club scores: your challenge and game scores, and - only if you choose one - a nickname and country, which are shown in the public rankings. Your real name is never shown there.
• Kids IQ Test: only the first name typed for the certificate, the age group and the answers. No email, no photos, and children never appear in the rankings.

What we don't do

• No advertising trackers. No selling or sharing your data.
• Certificates and reports are created in your own browser.

Your choices

To have your results deleted, write to support@therealiqtest.com with the result code(s) shown on your result page or certificate.
