The five abilities in your brain report

Pattern Reasoning

Fluid intelligence: spotting the hidden rule in new, unfamiliar problems.

Brain areas: A network linking the prefrontal cortex (front) and the parietal lobes (top-back) - the "P-FIT" network that brain-imaging studies link most strongly to reasoning.

Numerical Reasoning

Working with numbers, sequences and quantities in your head.

Brain areas: The intraparietal sulcus, a groove in the parietal lobe that handles number sense and mental arithmetic.

Verbal Reasoning

Understanding words, meanings and the relationships between ideas.

Brain areas: The left-hemisphere language network: Broca's area (frontal lobe) and Wernicke's area (temporal lobe).

Logical Deduction

Drawing conclusions that must follow from the facts - and spotting the ones that don't.

Brain areas: The rostrolateral prefrontal cortex, which combines several relations at once.

Spatial Reasoning

Turning, flipping and placing shapes in your mind's eye.

Brain areas: The right superior parietal lobe, which is active when you mentally rotate objects.

What do I get with Brain Club?

Every IQ test in three levels (the Official, the Advanced and the hard Real IQ Test), the Kids IQ Test, a certificate with your name and a PDF brain report for every test, the EQ, Memory, Logic, Verbal, Spatial, Reaction & Focus and Multiple Intelligences tests, seven brain games, a new challenge every day and every week, and the rankings.

Which IQ test is the most accurate?

The Real IQ Test (level 3). It has the hardest questions, adds working memory, and is scored honestly on the standard IQ scale - so most people land between 85 and 115. The Official and Advanced tests are easier and score more generously, which makes them a great confidence boost. No online test replaces a clinical assessment.

How accurate is an online IQ test?

Our tests use the same kinds of questions as professional tests - pattern matrices, number series, analogies, deduction, mental rotation and memory - and score you on the familiar IQ scale. They are a well-designed estimate for self-discovery and fun. Only a licensed psychologist using a test such as the WAIS or Stanford-Binet can give a clinical IQ score.

What is a good IQ score?

The average IQ is 100 by definition, and about two-thirds of people score between 85 and 115. A score of 110-119 is above average, 120-129 is superior, and 130 or more puts you in roughly the top 2% - the level Mensa accepts.

How long does the test take?

The Free IQ Test has 20 questions and takes most people 10 to 15 minutes. The Official IQ Test has 50 questions (45-minute limit); the Advanced and Real IQ Tests have 40 questions each (40-minute limit).

Can I share my result?

Yes - that is half the fun. After the test you get a ready-made image for your Instagram or TikTok story and a square post, plus a link. Brain Club adds a PDF certificate with your name that anyone can verify on our site.

Can I retake the test?

Yes, as often as you like. Scores usually rise a little on a second try because the question styles feel familiar - that is normal, and why professional tests limit retakes.
